This pliable yet structured water bottle from Vapur is among our favorites, and no doubt the most durable. Aptly named, the Anti-bottle is unlike traditional water bottles in that it can be folded or flattened to fit your packing needs—but it conveniently stands upright thanks to the width of its base. It’s also freezable and comes with a built-in carabiner that can attach to a daypack, travel purse, or belt loop. In terms of the collapsibility, we found it intuitive to roll it up from the bottom toward the cap, and the included clip fit snugly over the rolled-up bottle to keep it securely compressed.
When testing, we came to appreciate details that made this bottle easy to take on the go, like its smooth matte finish that kept it from slipping from our hands and the secure flip-top cap that has yet to leak. Although unfolding it exposed a few wrinkles in the bottle, these quickly smoothed out once we filled it with water again. The capacity was perfect for short excursions—it held enough water to sip on throughout the day, but didn’t feel burdensome to carry. This may not be the bottle we’d recommend if you’re sharing your water supply with a buddy, but it's the perfect option for travelers who want a durable, no-fuss collapsible bottle that’s also dishwasher safe. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that the Anti-Bottle is available in a slew of bright and cheery colors from marigold to Malibu teal.
