Drops of Hope: Haiti

Drops of Hope: Haiti
12 Sep 2010
On Jan. 12, 2010, Haiti was rocked by a 7.0-magnitude earthquake. Haiti, one of the poorest nations in the Western Hemisphere, has a population of over nine million. With this large disparity in wealth, compared to other countries, and a high density population, this massive quake caused a devastating amount of destruction.Since January, volunteers from Calvary Community Church have made multiple trips, helping the Haitians build two reservoirs in the community of Lamothe, Haiti. Those reservoirs provide clean accessible drinking water to a community of over 7,000 people. This is a small yet vital step towards re-building the country. In order to fund future clean water projects in Haiti, efforts now turn to selling the Drops of Hope: Haiti Vapur Anti-Bottles. 100% OF THE PROCEEDS GO TO PROVIDE CLEAN WATER FOR HAITI. Water is the source of life, so Vapur and Calvary will work together to help bring new life back into this country torn apart by natural disaster.Since the launch of the Drops of Hope: Haiti campaign on September 12, an outstanding $10,000 has already been made to help fund this project. If you would like to join Vapur and Calvary in their efforts, please contact haitirelief@calvarycc.org or call 818-575-2220.
