Founded in 2009, Vapur is led by a passionate team of professionals from all walks of life, setting out to design innovative products that empower people to make a difference.
Jason Carignan, Managing Director, Co-Founder
Mr. Carignan is also President and CEO of Tonic, a strategic brand communications consultancy based in Westlake Village, CA. Throughout his career, he has led a diverse range of design, branding and innovation projects for industry leaders like Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Citibank, Countrywide Bank, First Marblehead and Illy Cafe. Before founding Tonic in 2003, Jason worked as a brand strategist for a boutique brand studio in Southern California. He spent the early part of his career as VP of Marketing for Cal Fed and Glendale Federal Bank. Jason received his BA in Advertising from California Lutheran University. He currently serves on the Board of the 101 Executive Alliance.
Brent Reinke, Managing Director, Co-Founder
Brent Reinke is a corporate attorney with over 20 years of experience representing early stage, emerging growth as well as established corporations. His corporate practice emphasizes the areas of mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, corporate securities and finance, strategic alliances and licensing. His clients are involved in a broad array of industries.
Brent is also the Founder and Chairman of the Gold Coast Business Forum and a Co-Founder of The BioTech Forum. Both of these business forums provide educational and networking events for senior executives, entrepreneurs and business owners who own and operate companies located along the "101 Corridor" in Southern California.
David Czerwinski, Managing Director, Co-Founder
In addition to Co-founding Vapur, David Czerwinski serves as the Chief Executive Officer of EZ Shipper Racks, Inc.. Based in Westlake Village, CA. EZ Shipper is the nation's leading supplier of environmentally responsible shipping racks/crates and logistics services to the lawn and garden industry. Beyond logistics, David's career has spanned several industries including advertising and promotion, real estate development, children's publishing, and toy development and manufacturing.
Prior to acquiring an interest in EZ Shipper Racks, David held the position of Senior Vice President of Global Alliances at Applause, Inc where he and his team created and manufactured such highly iconic toys as the talking Taco Bell Chihuahuas and Star Wars kid's meal toys. David came to Applause from children's book publisher Western Publishing, best known as the publisher of Little Golden Books. He also spent several years as a real estate developer with the Trammell Crow Company prior to founding and managing Davaninan, Inc., an East Coast based real estate development firm.
