Q: How do I use it?
A: Drink purified water by sucking through spout opening, either when connected to an Anti-Bottle or as a straw directly from the source. Alternatively, you can squeeze water through bottle into another bottle or vessel.
Q: Where is it made?
A: The bottle is 100% made in the USA. The MicroFilter is manufactured in Korea.
Q: How does it work?
A: As you suck water through the spout of the cap, water is pulled through the hollow fiber membrane. With an absolute pore size of .2 microns, the membrane extracts 99.9999% of waterborne bacteria, organic matter and 99.9% of protozoa (anything over .2 microns) as water is pulled through to the spout.
Q: How do I clean it?
A: The bottle is top-rack dishwasher safe. The filter should only be rinsed and left to air dry.
Q: Does the MicroFilter remove odor & taste?
A: The Vapur MicroFilter does not filter out odor or taste from the water.
Q: How will I know when it's time to replace it?
A: The MicroFilter can filter up to 500 liters of water over it's lifespan. The filter includes an auto stop feature, once the pores of the membrane are filled water will no longer be able to pass through.
Q: Are there replacement MicroFilters available?
A: Yes, Microfilter Replacements are available on vapur.us.
Q: Does the MicroFilter work with other Vapur lines?
A: Yes, the MicroFilter also fits into any Vapur Anti-Bottle with a SuperCap.
Q: Can I remove the Microfilter from the SuperCap?
A: To remove the MicroFilter, simply hold the SuperCap and pull down on the MicroFilter to detach.
