Be prepared for emergencies—especially snack attacks.
Of course we have a spare tire, car jack, jugs of potable water, and a first-aid kit in our trunk. We even have AAA membership. But the thing we’ve found unequivocally useful on the road, time after time, are snacks. The healthier, the better. Our favorite driving snacks are dried mango, roasted almonds and cashews, buffalo jerky, and Clif bars. Sugary soda is best avoided, so we also take pains to fill and chill two 1-liter Vapur Element collapsible water bottles before setting out.
The DrinkLink simply turns a Vapur bottle into a bladder. Just click the DrinkLink system into any SuperCap Vapur bottle and go from hand-held bottle to hands-free hydration. The DrinkLink system features a user-friendly bite valve for easy drinking, and is equipped with a clip allowing you to keep it close at hand while riding or skinning. As an added bonus option, the quick-flow bite valve also attaches directly to the bottle.

Oxnard, Calif. (July 1, 2015) – Vapur®, makers of the flexible, reusable and eco-responsible “Anti-Bottle,” is pleased to announce the launch of its Hydration Program in partnership with Bryce Canyon National Park and Elkay. The partnership is being celebrated with an official Ribbon Cutting on July 1, at 10:00 a.m. (MDT), at the scenic Bryce Canyon National Park Sunset Point.
The newly announced Hydration Program aims to keep visitors healthy and hydrated by offering easy access to clean, safe water at six locations throughout the park, while promoting the use of reusable water bottles and reducing waste. To date, the Vapur Refill Stations have saved an estimated 186,215 single-use plastic bottles from being disposed of in landfills. Visitors looking for reusable bottles and a trip souvenir can find Bryce Canyon branded Vapur water bottles at the Visitors Center and The Lodge at Bryce Canyon.
“Our goal is to preserve Bryce Canyon for generations to come by offering an eco-friendly way to stay hydrated while visiting the park,” says Lisa E. Eckert, Bryce Canyon National Park Superintendent. “Not only is it important to stay hydrated while visiting Bryce, but we also care about our environmental footprint and love to see visitors reducing waste by using reusable bottles.”
“The Bryce Canyon Program is the first of many Hydration Programs that Vapur hopes to launch in partnership with National Parks around the country,” says Brent Reinke, CAO and co-founder of Vapur. “The success of this program can be used as a framework for additional programs, keeping millions of park visitors hydrated and reducing the overall environmental impact of our National Parks.”
