The Official Hydration Sponsor at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2012
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. (July 30, 2012) – Vapur Inc., designer and manufacturer of the trend-setting, foldable Anti-Bottle, introduces the first-ever hydration stations to Salt Lake City as the official Hydration Sponsor at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2012.
To commemorate Vapur’s first appearance at ORSM, the company has teamed up with Nielsen to bring its innovative and award-winning Anti-Bottles, as well as a unique hydration solution for show-goers. Attendees can visit any of the four stations positioned in the Salt Palace and at the New Exhibitor Pavilion to refill their reusable water bottles, at no cost! Vapur and Nielsen hope these innovative water solutions will put a halt to unnecessary plastic water bottle waste and also keep attendees hydrated.
“We are helping people give the boot to needless plastic bottle waste,” says Jason Carignan, chief design officer for Vapur. “Not only will our mobile hydration stations keep Outdoor Retailer show-goers loaded up on water, but we will also be giving away our new Vapur Element Anti-Bottle to lucky visitors. We are excited to bring this awesome service to ORSM and look forward to participating in the summer extravaganza.”
Of the four hydration stations, two will be located in the Salt Palace near the concession stands, and two others will welcome visitors in the New Exhibitor Pavilion. In addition, the Vapur team is giving away 250 free Element Anti-Bottles at each of the stations starting at 10:00 a.m. each morning of the show, while supplies last. Get there early to get your free bottle. The stations will also host Flash Giveaways throughout the show. Follow Vapur on Twitter to keep up on events and freebies at the stations.
And, what would ORSM be without happy hour? Vapur’s happy hour is on Friday, August 3 from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., booth no. PV174 in the New Exhibitor Pavilion. Come enjoy a cold beverage and while jamming to some tunes spun by none other than DJ Knucklz. If free beer and live music aren’t enough to entice you, swing by to win some awesome Vapur giveaways!

A UK military team set off on a week long expedition to conquer the two highest peaks in the UK: Ben Nevis and Ben Macdui. Needless to say, they brought their Vapur Element Anti-Bottles along for the adventure!
Read what Craig Kidney from this group had to say:
“The exped is now complete and everyone has returned safe and sound… Everyone involved in the exped was thoroughly impressed with their Vapur bottles (so much so that they are still in constant use around the offices at work). I, for one, was definitely grateful for it when I forgot my mug during a couple of nights in the wild and risked a period with no coffee! I’m pretty sure that they weren’t designed with this in mind, but they also make fantastic whiskey decanters during adventures like this. I’ve had Vapur bottles in the past, but I have to say that the new Element bottles are far superior. The robustness and versatility (and it’s whiskey carrying ability) are second to none. It’ll surely be one of the first things in my rucksack in the future (probably this weekend when the family and I have a hike/camp round Loch Affric)!” -Craig Kidney

Vapur hand-held “Anti-Bottles” are flexible, reusable and require less energy to make and transport than traditional rigid bottles. They are also BPA-free and made in America. The brand is now offering two new models, the Vapur Element with an integrated SuperCap (SRP $11.99 to $13.99) and the Vapur Quencher (SRP $9.99). The Vapur Element’s widemouth SuperCap provides greater “gulp-ability” and a stronger, integrated attachment clip. The Element also has a patented flexible design, folds flat when empty, and is available in .7L and 1L versions. The Vapur Quencher collection for kids has four sticker pack options, and the company plans to launch a fully customizable website in 2013 that will allow kids to create custom profiles, printable stickers for their Quenchers, and join a fun community.
Rodriguez is comfortable in deep water and rough conditions. In 2011, the impulse to venture offshore propelled his Nauti Dogs Kayak Wars team to a first place finish. So he can celebrate properly, we’re sending him a compact, collapsible, washable Vapur Element Anti-Bottle. Catching big fish is thirsty work.

A really refreshing idea, this reusable drinking bottle stands when full yet folds flat when empty- it can even be rolled up to fit in a pocket or bag. Tough enough for everyday use, it can be chilled in the freezer, and the handy carabiner clip makes it ideal for attaching to a belt or rucksack. 500ml.
